The experience

About this workshop

In this calm & hands-on workshop, we will explore the centuries-old craft of Japanese matcha.

After a welcome tea and a short introduction, we will dive into the history, cultivation, and benefits of matcha, followed by a guided tasting of different cultivars and grades to understand what influences flavour and quality in matcha.

We will get to know the traditional tools and whisking techniques and learn step-by-step how to prepare and enjoy our own bowl of matcha – in both traditional and modern ways.
