Grade
Grade
All our matcha is single-origin and ceremonial grade - meaning it's grown according to Japan's highest standards for tea ceremony.
This matcha is made using only the first spring harvest (first flush). The tea plant has been shaded for a minimum of 20 days before harvest, and was processed on the day of harvest to preserve all nutrients.
Origin
Origin
Our matcha is sourced directly from a small family farm outside of Kyoto, farmed pesticide-free and harvested manually, resulting in a matcha that is full of flavor, vibrant green, and highly nutritious with all antioxidants and amino acids intact.
Preparation
Preparation
For Matcha Latte: Sift 2g of matcha into a bowl and add 30ml 90° C hot water. Use a chasen (bamboo whisk) and whisk in a W motion until frothy. We like to top it up with oat or almond milk.
For Ususcha (Pure matcha): Sift 2g of matcha into a bowl and add 60ml 80° C hot water. Use a chasen (bamboo whisk) and whisk in a W motion until frothy. Add more water if you prefer a lighter drink.
